Except for a few states in the US, where the age of consent is 14, most states have it at 16-18. This, I personally think is too high.

I think that we should lower the age of consent in EVERY states, OK not to 12, but maybe, to like, 14.
A 14 year old is NO LONGER a child from a biological point of view, but a YOUNG ADULT, and most 14 year olds ARE MATURE ENOUGH to be able to handle the emotional consequences of ***.
How should I go about on putting pressure to craft legislation that will change this ridiculously law and put the age of consent to 14???
