Is there a scientific way to descirbe the process of death, and what by your opinion happens after death ?
Filip M asked:
I want to know what happens to brain while a person is dying.
As far as i know, brain produces the anestetics before death. And, also, dying person can see the white light, which is a product of burning neurons.
Few days ago, i have seen in a show in “Discovery” that there is a part of the brain that is inactive during the person’s life, but that activates shortly after the death. Is this the part of the brain that gives us the illusion of the eternal life ? Cause, in my atheistic opinion (which means that i reject the theory of heaven/hell/purifying grounds/nirvana etc.) death brings us to state of lucid dreaming, which wipes out the memory of our death, and let us “live” in illusion forever, crafting our own world.
So, if someone is a Buddhist, his/her mind (which is crafted to produce nirvana during his/her life) will create illusion of void. If someone is Christian, his/her mind (which is crafted to produce heaven/hell-depending on person’s conscience) will create those illusions.
Addition : I had to add this, cuz question was too long to fit.

So, if someone is an atheist, his mind will produce a lucid dream which can be fully manipulated, which is why i choose this way…the way with no barriers in mind.

The Institute of Noetic Sciences Explores the frontiers of consciousness to advance individual, social, and global transformation.
In scientific terms, when death impinges on life, consciousness ceases to exist.
But before death tolls, humans often conjure up vivid illusions of all sorts of glorious afterlives in which they choose to believe.
However, we don’t need to hope that we can achieve some level of happiness in the future, or, indeed, when we die.
We can focus on the concept that a level of consciousness that brings joy and contentment can be found in the present.
Instead of looking to the future for our fulfillment, we can live it now.
