How do we get the government to admit what really happened at Roswell?

So let’s assume he is telling the truth and let’s assume that an alien spacecraft really did crash in Roswell in the 40’s and the government has been covering it up ever since… by what method might we be able to get the government to finally officially acknowledge that it happened?
The only thing I can think of is that if some really respected public figure would need to lead people to continually demand the government admit it, then it mgiht happen.
Can anyone think of any other ideas?
Theoretically, you could file under the Freedom of Information Act. However, the government can still black out anything in which they still hold classified. So, you could appeal under the FOIA and try to get something, but they don’t have to give you anything. That is about the only way they will release anything on that event.
I seriously doubt that there is any alien space craft or aliens at Roswell. It was probably a Top Secret project that the military and government won’t talk about and it was not a success. Now, the alien myth has gone so out of control, they are just letting it stay as “aliens” instead of reveal what they really did.
They wont admit it. They hide it because they know that the truth is too much for the world to handle. What they found was MUCH more than just a spaceship. Showing the world will cause an uproar and most of the religions will be proven wrong,
Maybe Al Gore would consider it after we find a ‘cure’ for global warming.
That it was just a weather balloon, crashed Japanese test aircraft, or “aliens”? The Freedom of Information Act does not cover, nor ever will, areas of national security as in anything remotely being intelligent extraterrestial would be.
