How come no one has booted Barney Frank from his position as Chair of the House Financial Services Committee?
In September 2003, Frank, then the ranking Democrat on the Republican-led Financial Services Committee, opposed Bush administration proposals for transferring oversight of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac by creating an independent agency to supervise. The proposal would have moved oversight from Congress and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to the new agency. Frank stated in 2003, “The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.”[30] Frank stated that the bill would potentially “[weaken] the bargaining power of poorer families and their ability to get affordable housing”
And his “boyfriend” was instrumental in crafting todays collapse.
Frank’s former partner, Herb Moses, was an executive at Fannie from 1991 to 1998, where Moses helped develop many of Fannie’s affordable housing and home improvement lending programs. In 1991, Frank pushed for reduced restriction on two- and three-family home mortgages.[39] Frank and Moses’ relationship ended around the same time Moses left the company; Frank’s support of Fannie and Freddie predated and continued past that relationship

With Obama more of the same old politics, so much for the change he lied about to get elected.
Dunno where to turn but I was given a a beautiful hand crafted knife worth $1500 that was stolen recently?
Unfortunately, I have no contact with the person who bought it, nor do I have any idea where it was made, other than up-state New York. I have no pictures of it and am only able to provide a description. I’m looking for a knife maker who can give a quote for the knife, based on the desc. and est. value, so it can be turned over to our insurance company. If anyone has any idea, please let me know. I’m no-where near an expert on knifes and have provided the best description I could below.
* It was about 15 inches from from the tip to the base.
* The handle was made of a dark wood that had gold or brass finger slots for the index, middle and ring fingers then an open ended slot for the pinky.
* Each of the three finger slots had a gold spike protruding from it, similar to brass knuckles. The bottom of the blade also
contained the same type spike underneath the handle
* The handle was about 5.5 inches long, the blade was 9.5
* The back of the blade had a serated edge
Any ideas?

Is there a scientific way to descirbe the process of death, and what by your opinion happens after death ?
I want to know what happens to brain while a person is dying.
As far as i know, brain produces the anestetics before death. And, also, dying person can see the white light, which is a product of burning neurons.
Few days ago, i have seen in a show in “Discovery” that there is a part of the brain that is inactive during the person’s life, but that activates shortly after the death. Is this the part of the brain that gives us the illusion of the eternal life ? Cause, in my atheistic opinion (which means that i reject the theory of heaven/hell/purifying grounds/nirvana etc.) death brings us to state of lucid dreaming, which wipes out the memory of our death, and let us “live” in illusion forever, crafting our own world.
So, if someone is a Buddhist, his/her mind (which is crafted to produce nirvana during his/her life) will create illusion of void. If someone is Christian, his/her mind (which is crafted to produce heaven/hell-depending on person’s conscience) will create those illusions.
Addition : I had to add this, cuz question was too long to fit.
So, if someone is an atheist, his mind will produce a lucid dream which can be fully manipulated, which is why i choose this way…the way with no barriers in mind.
Thanks for reading.

Have you seen this? It defies the concept of “linear” civilization?
http://www.svn.net/gp/opentomb.htm
Plato stated that there were former advance civilizations predating his times that made his civilization “appear as an infant” (rudimentary)… it appears from these Egyptian hieroglyphics of space craft, a helicopter and other anti-gravitical vehicles and transporters that there once existed a former global technoculture having highly advance technologies predating our ancient history; and indicating that human civilization may actually be recurrent and cyclic.
Evidence appears to indicate that former global technocultures were annihilated by “transterrestrial” periodic cosmocataclysms that wiped away the all evidence of the former civilizations and returned a small remnant of post-catastrophic survivors back to a state of Neobarbarism to begin the slow and incremental process of “recivilization” all over again.
Planetmatt… Have you been living under a rock?
The military have work horse “heavy-lift” helicopters with a big “HOLE” in the center for cargo module connection…

It’s NOT the Egyptians that built the pyramids; it was a former global technoculture and the heavy ton blocks where transported by this means. The Egyptians were merely post-catastrophic generations that reassembled a Neobarbaric civilization in this location of Egypt “after” the cosmocataclysm that struck Earth.
